Being Chinese

It’s true that Vancouver Chinatown was once a place where we all grew up.  When I was a teen I even worked down there. I learned how to make milkshakes, all kinds of soda and floats selling them to customers sitting on stools at a lunch counter at a produce store at  Hastings and Carroll streets called Cozy Corner.  I believe the owners were the Yens.  Great people to work for and at the same time I  not only made money but learned plenty.
